Our Trip to Black Creek Farm

October FINALLY delivered us a beautiful weekend, so we loaded up the car and headed to Black Creek Farm – a pumpkin patch in Decatur, Texas. I’d heard about this place last year and I’m so glad we were able to check it out. It’s waaaay out in the country, but worth the drive.

Arriving at Black Creek Farm

As soon as we pulled up the kids spotted a bounce house and were full of giggles and excitement over it. So we hit that up first! Jude and Presley hopped right in, but Knox got cold feet so him and Jeff played on these massive hay bales instead.

All three kids eventually ended up on the hay bales together and they loved being up so high. They took turns jumping off into our arms and just had the best time.

After that we headed over to this little farm animal photo shoot area. I’m actually amazed that all three kids agreed to this and smiled for the camera!

There was so much to do at the farm! The kids played on the playground, Knox loved the sand pit, we took a hay ride around the property and there was a little area where you could pet the goats and chickens.

Parades, Festivals & Friday Night Lights

Some of the other activities they had were face painting, a food truck, barrel train ride, pumpkin bowling, rubber ducky races and there was even a cute little gift shop. I can’t stop laughing at how serious Jude was when he was getting his face painted!

We enjoyed our visit so much and can see our family returning year after year. I mean look at these faces!
