Top 10 Makeup Products Under $10

In the last few years I’ve become more interested in affordable makeup products and learning how to properly apply it. Maybe it has something to do with me being in my 30s now 🙂 I have to admit, I’m a bit of a tomboy at heart so I haven’t always been into makeup. I’m certainly not going to be doing any tutorials on YouTube anytime soon! However, I do have some go-to products that are easy to use and best of all – affordable! These are products that I have incorporated into my makeup routine for a long time and really love. I don’t get super fussy with my makeup being a stay-at-home mom, but I do like to feel put together most days! So without further ado, here are my top 10 makeup products under $10!

Covergirl lashblast Mascara

COVERGIRL Lashblast Volume Mascara
My go-to mascara for years! I’ve tried so many different mascaras over the years and I always, always come back to this one. I’m always amazed at how much longer and fuller my lashes look after applying this mascara.

maybelline concealerMaybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer
This lightweight concealer is so dang good. It’s not heavy so it won’t settle into your fine lines and wrinkles. It instantly brightens up my dark circles. After applying to my under eye area, I use a damp beauty blender to work it in. (This is my absolute favorite beauty blender!)

elf hd powderElf High Definition Powder
I love using this powder under my eyes after I’ve applied concealer. It’s also great to set your makeup if you are going for a matte look. I prefer the translucent one, but it also comes in Corrective Yellow and Shimmer.

Maybelline Dewy SmoothMaybelline Dewy+Smooth Foundation
This foundation goes on like a dreeeeam. It blends so easily and it looks really natural. It’s not a full coverage look, but great for everyday wear. I love how easily this foundation blends into my skin; it doesn’t take much time or effort to apply. That’s my kind of makeup!

NYX go to palette

NYX Go-To Palette
I received this palette for Christmas last year and I absolutely love it. It is highly pigmented so you only have to use a little bit of the product. The blush in this set gives the prettiest glow and I love all the eye shadows.

NYX wonder stickNYX Wonder Stick
If you don’t have time to apply a full face of foundation, this is your new best friend! You can highlight and contour with a few easy swipes and it blends into your skin with ease. It feels really creamy when you apply it and gives your makeup a “put together” look without spending a ton of time on it.

maybelline matte inkMaybelline Super Stay Matte Ink
Search no more, friends! If you are looking for long wear lipstick that won’t budge throughout the day, I highly recommend this one. The colors are very saturated and I usually have to use makeup remover to get it off at night. I usually wear this pink shade in the photo, but I’m also really excited to try this plum color for fall. It’s called Believer.

elf makeup brushElf Makeup Brushes (In Black)
I’m really loving the elf brand of makeup brushes. The hairs do not fall out like with some brushes I’ve tried, and they are really soft! I specified the black ones because I’ve bought one of the white ones and it fell apart pretty quickly. The black-handled brushes range from $3-$6 each.

maybelline contour kitMaybelline Master Contour
Can you tell I like products that are dual purpose?? I just love this simple, functional palette. After applying your foundation you can whip this out and have your makeup done in nothing flat. I also use the contour and highlight for my eye shadow.

covergirl eyelinerCovergirl Perfect Blend Eyeliner
Perfect for those with a not-so-steady hand like me 🙂 The little blender on the end allows you to smooth out any mistakes and create a more natural look. The product is slightly creamy so it glides onto your eye with ease.

  1. This is a great list! I already love the fit me foundation and really want to try the concealer and the matte ink lip! I’m always looking for budget friendly greats!

  2. The concealer is better than any I’ve found at more expensive stores. I love it and use it everyday, even when I don’t use foundation. Great list!! Thanks!

  3. That ELF Powder is one of the best setting powders ever! I am such a beauty budget girl so I appreciate a fellow drugstore beaut! I love cruelty-free affordable makeup so I even blog about it all: thekindcalifornian.com. Love the layout of your blog!

  4. I totally agree with the Covergirl mascara! I usually use Tarte for my main makeup needs, but I always go to Covergirl for my mascara! I think I may have to try that Maybelline Matte Ink, too. Thanks for sharing!

    1. It’s THE best! I’ve never tried tarte, although I’ve heard wonderful things about it. Maybe Black Friday will put it in my budget 😉
